In 1978 Enternet set out to be the premier developer of leading-edge bindery line process control systems for the commercial printing industry. Since then, Enternet has led with first-to-market introductions of numerous products and processes, each furthering the state of the art in targeted market advertising. Each of Enternet's turnkey systems provides the ability to collect and report production performance within the bindery, greatly increasing efficiency and management's control. Today, Enternet's control systems are standard fixtures in virtually all the major commercial printers in North America.

In 1999 Enternet introduced the first of a series of process control systems to the newspaper industry, satisfying the emerging needs of newspapers' packaging/mailroom/distribution centers for full corporate enterprise network integration.  Years later, there are over 60 such systems installed in some of the largest newspapers in North America.

As consumer databases proliferate and micro-marketing practices improve, increasingly it's the production side of the commercial printing and newspaper businesses that's the impediment to implementing effective targeted market advertising. By enabling sophisticated methods of selective binding for commercial printers and inserting/collating for newspapers, Enternet allows its customers to offer superior advertising services to its advertising clients.
