The EnternetTM stitcher and binder control system was originally developed for R.R. Donnelley & Sons, Inc., one of the premier commercial printers in the world. Other commercial printers using the EnternetTM controller include Quebecor Worldwide, Cenveo, Brown, Transcontinental, Fry Communications and Arandell. Over 300 such systems have been installed to date, proving themselves in different and challenging environments.

The EnternetTM Controller permits maximum flexibility when producing catalogs, directories and magazines by using "selective binding." Selective binding is the process by which the stitcher or binder is controlled in the gathering process to place specific signatures, including covers, in each individual book, based on address. Additionally, variable messaging can be ink-jet printed on or within each book, in multiple locations, based on this same address data. All the above can be done without compromising line speed.

Selective binding makes possible target marketing in catalogs and directories, as well as the regionalization of national magazines. Catalogers and publishers can target their publications directly to each addressee by inserting unique advertising content based on that addressee's demographic profile or purchasing history.

The EnternetTM bindery control system, launched in mid-2002 and now operating on more than 60 lines, has been an instant hit. With identical software and all the power of its older brother, the EnternetTM- eSeries controls mailtables and small bindery lines up to eight pockets and four inkjet printers. Selective binding capability is an option. Lower price points make the industry's gold standard control system affordable to the entire universe of printers/mailers.
